Terms & Conditions
1. Booking
(a) Your booking is not considered definite, and no contract will exist until we receive a £500 deposit from you and you explicitly agree to these terms and conditions.
(b) We do not share customer details with any third parties, nor do we store credit card details.
2. Payment
(a) All prices are stated in GBP £ and represent the exact amount to be received by us.
(b) The full payment amount is due 45 days before training and can be made via credit card, bank transfer.
(c) Please instruct your bank to charge all fees to you to avoid any shortfall in the amount we receive.
3. Your Travel Arrangements
All travel arrangements are your responsibility and at your own cost. We shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations concerning any companies with which you have made travel arrangements, or for any irregularities in your travel documentation. Transfers to and from the retreat are your responsibility unless otherwise specified.
3b. Coronavirus / general sickness Guidance & Restrictions
Should you exhibit any symptoms, we require you to stay at home. If symptoms arise during your stay, you must report them immediately and self-isolate. You will be responsible for any medical costs incurred. We are not liable for any infectious diseases contracted during your stay or in the event of an emergency, lockdown, or political crisis we are not liable or responsible however will do our best to ensure safety and assistance.
4. Travel Insurance
(a) Travel insurance is highly recommended. If you choose to purchase insurance, it must cover the activities included in this retreat, as well as provide coverage for unforeseen cancellations, illness, loss, and all usual risks. You should carry your policy for emergency reference.
5. Your Health
(a) It is your responsibility to inform your Yoga Instructor of any injuries and to always be mindful of your body's capabilities during the training /retreat. If you experience any injury or discomfort during any activity, you must stop immediately.
(b) You must consult a qualified medical professional familiar with yoga to ensure you are fit and healthy enough to participate in the classes and activities offered during the retreat.
(c) Please inform us and your Yoga Instructor Mythic Movement of any mental or physical health conditions and dietary requirements prior to booking. If your health or dietary requirements could be impacted by retreat activities, we reserve the right to recommend against your participation and, in the interest of your well-being or that of others, decline your stay at our retreats.
(d) While we strive to ensure a high standard of health and safety, the property is located in the mountains, where the terrain is uneven. We and the involved parties, including your Yoga Instructor, shall not be responsible for injuries resulting from uneven terrain.
(e) Pregnant women between 12 and 28 weeks must provide a letter from their healthcare provider indicating they are fit to travel and participate in the activities offered. This letter must be submitted to your Yoga Instructor upon arrival. We recommend that pregnant women have prior yoga experience.
6. Cancellation by You
(a) You (or any member of your party) may cancel your booking at any time, provided that the cancellation is made in writing by the individual who submitted the booking form. Cancellation will take effect on the day such notification is received by us. Prior to 45 days before the training, the deposit is non/ refundable but transferable to a future training with The Mythic Movement however, if another person can be found to take your place, we may consider offering a refund at our discretion. Once the full amount has been paid 45 days before the training, it is non refundable but transferable to a future training.
(b) Bookings are for the specified duration of the retreat. There are no refunds for any unused portion of the retreat. If your reason for cancellation is covered under your insurance policy, you may be eligible to make a claim.
7. Amendments by Us
Occasionally, changes may be necessary in the schedule (e.g., yoga teacher, class times, or other arrangements), and we reserve the right to make these modifications at any time. Should a significant change become necessary, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure.
8. Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel a retreat in any circumstances. Notably, our retreats require a minimum of 75% participant bookings at least 30 days prior to the start date. If this minimum is not met, we may cancel and provide a full refund.
9. Our Liability to You
(a) We, along with involved parties such as your Yoga Instructor, accept responsibility for ensuring that the retreats are delivered as described, and that the services we are contractually obligated to provide meet a reasonable standard.
(b) We do not accept liability for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by war, threats of war, terrorist actions or threats, airport closures, civil unrest, industrial actions, natural disasters, technical issues with transport, staff cancellations, or any unforeseen personal circumstances, or events beyond our control.
(c) We and the involved parties, including your Yoga Instructor, are not liable for any injuries you may incur. Participation in yoga classes is undertaken at your own risk. We are not liable for any medical or psychiatric conditions that may develop during or after the retreat. We are not liable for any loss of or damage to your personal property.
10. Group Bookings
When a booking is made on behalf of multiple individuals, the booking is contingent upon the person(s) paying having authorization from all individuals named on the booking form to enter into this contract. The terms of this contract will apply to each group member as if they had paid for their own retreat individually and directly to us.
11. No Liability for Possessions
The property will not be left unsecured, and you will be provided with a personal key to your room. It is your responsibility to ensure your possessions are safe at all times, including those in rental cars or other hired equipment.
12. Complaints
Should you encounter any issues during your retreat, please inform the organizer immediately, and they will endeavor to resolve any concerns. We cannot be held responsible for the individual behavior of any group member or other guests sharing your accommodation.
13. Privacy Policy
We do not share customer details with any third parties. Any personal information you provide will be used solely for the service you requested. This information will be used for site administration and the compilation of statistics relevant to our site’s usage. This privacy policy does not cover links to external sites within our site.
14. Photography and Video Consent
By participating in our classes, workshops and trainings or being present at our location, you grant Mythic Movement full consent to capture photographs, videos, and audio recordings during these activities, unless specifically communicated to us. You agree that Mythic Movement may use these materials for commercial, publicity, and advertising purposes without any compensation or fees owed to you. You acknowledge that you have no rights to any compensation related to these recordings.
