SOMAS

A coalescence of Sound, Somatics, Movement & Mantra - A journey into the Three Malas

An intertwining and harmonic unravelling of Evy Ferraro & Pavan (Hanuman Project)

3 Day SOMAS 20h YACEP Teacher Training / Immersion - January 9-11 2026 - Alchemy Yoga Centre, Ubud, Bali

Registered with Yoga Alliance

The Tantrik scriptures point to the root cause of our suffering as the identification with the I self, binding us into the dualistic illusion of separation, which keeps us bound in the never ending search. When we finally give up the striving and chasing of external desires, we discover that everything we’ve been looking for lies within. Fundamentally our desires and urges that pull us outward are not wrong, as within them lie the seed for our awakening.

SOMAS is an emerging map of Somatics and Sound, a rare three day collaboration between Evy Ferraro and Pavan (Hanuman Project) with special musician guests to untangle and re-pattern consciousness.

Prepare for an exploration of BMC Somatics, Embodied Movement, supported with live soundscapes. Combined with the science of Mantra meditation, Bhakti and the power of Sound & Voice activation, we will dismantle the layers of self to reveal the universal consciousness that lives at the heart of everything, the helix spiral of separation and re-union.

Unique to this container we will be unpacking, diving into and lovingly comparing Non-Dual Saiva Tantra and Vaishnava philosophy, revealing in the harmonies and singularities.

The sense of separation which is the root of our suffering lies not just in the mind, but deeply rooted in our belief systems that intertwines the nervous system, energy body and stored patterns of the body and psyche.

The three Malas in Tantrik Philosophy: Āṇava mala, Māyīya mala and Kārma mala are known as the three energetic veils of illusion that keep us bound to suffering and separation.

We will be dismantling, unravelling and excavating these energetic veils, liberating our true nature held in a safe container and loving community for deep inner Inquiry. A journey to arrive home, to the Symphony of Now.

This three day immersion can either be taken as a 20h Registered YACEP Teacher Training or as a deep retreat into the self.

Day 1: Āṇavamala / Illusion of Separation

The feeling that Something Is Missing? Āṇavamala (or Impurity of Individuality) is the veil that something is fundamentally wrong. A deep rooted belief that entangles the body, psyche, energy body and nervous system inherent to human experience, concealing us from revealing the truth that we are an expression of the divine.

A day to excavate the preconscious urges and desires that pull us outward, and the sense of separation that infuses cellular experience and nervous system state. Practices to access the universal consciousness that is within us, bringing us home to our natural organic state of wholeness.

Day 2: Māyîya Mala - Perception of Subject, Object Differention

The failure to perceive the unity behind the apparent duality keeps us bound in a judgemental narrating mind. When we dissolve the fractured split of projection and perceived labels, we see ourselves in all beings, and all beings within ourselves. In Day two we will examine duality vs non-duality, the world as a mirror of projection.

The themes we will explore are: discernment and agency; The underlying saṃskāras, or Individuated childhood imprints that give rise to perception, opening us to investigate the choices behind our life path.

Day 3: Kārma Mala - The Bondage of Karma

The cycle of action resulting from the ignorance and grasping of the previous two Malas create karmic repercussions. When we are driven by attachment and aversion we make life decisions from this Mala.

Through revealing the first two Malas, life can start flowing fourth from Pratibhā - our inner knowing or deeper intuitive intelligence. The relinquishing of Karma Mala unravels our life into deeper harmonious alignment with the greater organic pattern, opening ourselves as vessels of divine consciousness. This is the final step of unlocking our pure potentiality as beings of infinite possibility and creation. Coming into divine union not just as a practice but as a life path.

About Evy

EMBODIMENT FACILITATOR E-RYT 500 / RYT 2500h+

Embodied Yoga, Somatics, Non-Dual Tantra and Co-Founder of The Mythic Movement Yoga School

Evy has dedicated a lifetime to dissecting and questing to understand the complexities and unseen forces beneath the veil of reality. The unfolding of non-dual realization is a never-ending investigation of the intricate interweaving of consciousness, laying out a path of dharma that grooves the riverbeds of her life and teaching—inseparable from one another.

As the face of yoga continues to evolve, more people are accessing deeper layers of consciousness, reshaping the collective understanding of existence. Her teaching is informed by the evolution of ancient traditions, staying true to lineage while weaving together ancient technologies of myth and practice with contemporary neuroscience, trauma research, somatic science, and relational healing within the quantum field.

Evy has a BA First-class Degree in Dance Science and has completed over 2500+ hours of Teacher Training including Traditional Hatha, Ashtanga & Vinyasa Yoga, Yin, Restorative, Ayurveda, Somatics (BMC, Feldenkrais, Tomas Hanna Somatics), Remedial Pilates, Trauma & Nervous System studies, and has been a devotee of Classical Non-Dual Saiva Tantra (Trika Lineage) for the last 6 years. She has led 200h & 300h Teacher trainings with Authentic Flow, Trimurti Yoga School and now Co-founder of The Mythic Movement School, a movement in Non-Dual Tantra & Somatics.

The embodied path of Tantra brings one nowhere but here. The goal has always been exactly where one already is. It is through the vessel of the body—through its miraculous pathways of connectivity and exploration—that one can awaken to the intimacy of the present moment. The body is an archive, storing and shaping experience through tissues and cellular remembrance. Through the excavation of the inner world, one can experience the self as a micro-expression of the macrocosm—a vessel for consciousness to dance through in an unhindered, unbound expression of divine play.
